Hybrid Light Poles
The Hybrid Light Pole is a remarkable stand-alone streetlight that produces and stores its own power obtained from the wind and the sun. No underground services are required. A wind turbine and a solar panel system is installed on top of the light standard. The turbine harnesses the wind from all directions, regardless of gusting, while solar panel is optimally positioned to take advantage of as much sunlight as possible. All of the generated power is stored in a battery system located at the base of the pole.
