Portable Water Purification
Solar powered water purification systems come in a variety of styles and sizes and can be taken almost anywhere in the world. A self-contained, portable briefcase-sized unit, weighing only 35 pounds, can produce 1 gallon per minute (up to 100 gallons per day) of clean safe drinking water.
Stationary Water Purification
Stationary or mobile trailer systems can produce 10 to 15,000 gallons of drinking water per day. The stationary systems can be ground or wall mounted. These units require no external electricity, or the need to add chemicals to the water being treated.
Solar Water Pumps
NOMADiQ solar water pumps utilize DC electric power from photovoltaic panels. They are designed to work during low light conditions at reduced power, without stalling or overheating. Solar powered pumping stations are ideal for:
- rural areas, where there is a dependence on wells for their source of water and power sources are unpredictable
- villages with sustainable deep wells (the best option for the cleanest and most stable water supply)
- pushing water over long distances and up hills to holding tanks
